On the FEBS (Federation of European Biochemical Societies) website, FEBS Communications published a post by Ferenc Nagy, General Director of the BRC, about the history, important milestones and future of the BRC.
Ferenc Nagy started his research career as a bachelor student in the Plant Biology Institute in 1973, in the same year when the research center began fully operating. He witnessed how the BRC has become a recognized, outstanding research center since its foundation. Since his appointment as Director General in 2018, the research center has undergone other important changes and developments. In the FEBS columns, the General Director guides the reader through the major stations of the Institute to future perspectives,mentioning current research topics in the BRC.
