International Conference on Developmental Biology in the BRC

The 2nd Conference of the Visegrád Group Society for Developmental Biology (V4SDB)

will take place in the Biological Research Centre (BRC), Szeged between 2-5 September, 2021. The conference is continuing the tradition which started with the first and inaugural meeting of the V4SDB in the Czech Republic in 2018.

It is the main priority of the event to provide a highly interactive environment between young scientists and renowned international experts, and motivate and educate early stage researchers. For this aim, a one-day laboratory based practical workshop will be organized for students on the first day of the conference. Besides hands on practical training, career advice and insights into scientific publishing (open access (OA) and current alternative publication (e.g. preprint) opportunities) will be also offered for them with the help of foreign experts.
