The Gedeon Richter Talentum Foundation was established by Gedeon Richter Plc. to support the early careers of talented young scientists. The sponsorship is available for PhD students (and their doctoral school) under the age of 35, even from the beginning of doctoral studies, and it gives the opportunity to take part in applied pharmaceutical research.

Tamás Dudás from the Neurovascular Unit Research Group led by István Krizbai received the scholarship with his project entitled "The role of brain capillary pericytes in the modulation of cerebral blood flow in inflammation".

Tamás Polgár from the Neuronal Plasticity Research Group led by László Siklós won the sponsorship with the project entitled "Examining the relationship between the morphology and the immune/inflammation reaction of glial cells in the passive transfer model of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis".

Tamás Dudás and Tamás Polgár are starting their 3rd year in their doctoral studies at Doctoral School of Theoretical Medicine at the University of Szeged and are supported by the foundation for 2 years from September, 2022.

We congratulate both of them on the scholarship and wish them every success in their work!
